SCHOLARSHIPS

Bhadrachalam Public School & Junior College has always courage quality education. Meritorious performance of students in academics is always recognized and students with an outstanding performance in Board Examinations will be awarded with financial assistance in the form of scholarships.

NAME OF THE SCHOLARSHIP

1.J.N.Sapru Scholarship

Rs. 12,000 per year, for a period of 4 years for pursuing higher education. This scholarship would be offered to the student who stands first in the final examination of XII

2.J.N.Sapru Scholarship

Mrs Geeta Sapru Scholarship (Rs.2, 500) per year, for a period of 2 years for pursuing higher education. This Scholarship would be given to the student who stands first in the final examination of Class X

3.Mr. K.L. Chugh Scholarship

This scholarship is meant, exclusively, for two girl students who pursue professional course in Engineering, Architecture, Medicine, Dental science, Agriculture, Law, and Hotel Management etc. The amount payable is Rs.12000/- p.a. for the entire period of professional course up to a maximum of 5 years subject to the first class marks of above 60% marks in each academic year in the professional institution wherever she Studies.

For the topper in Class XII there is already JN Sapru Scholarship of Rs. 12,000/- p.a. for a period of 4 years for any type of course the student undertakes after Class XII. In the event a girl candidate will receive the KL Chugh Scholarship.

GAYATRI MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS

Institutied by Sri AV Hanumantha Rao, the following criteria will be followed for the award of this Scholarship to a meritorious student in XI Exam with effect from 2000.

The Amount donated is Rs.1, 00,000/- invested by ITC Bhadrachalam Education Trust in IFCI Bonds (5 years) to yield maximum interest. The interest so earned shall be used awarding the Two Scholarships every year as follows:

  1. 60% of the interest amount shall be awarded to the student, who scores highest total,
  2. 40% of the interest amount shall be awarded to the student who scores second highest total marks.
